What this means to you is the fact you are getting a quality product that meets or exceeds the OEM standards, not just a part that is taken apart and “patched”. We ensure that all the current updates are performed, during reassembly each unit is ran through tests to ensure correct assembly and quality.

Updates to the Transmission:

• Updated Sonnax Low Reverse Snap Ring
  A common failure in the Ford 5R110W occurs when the low/reverse retaining ring pops out of the case groove, causing slips in reverse and severe damage to the case lugs. When moving in reverse, the pressure plate can have some radial movement in the case. This movement walks the retaining ring out of its groove. Sonnax low/reverse retaining ring 36885 is wider and slightly thicker, providing more outward tension than other available replacement rings. The increased tension and extra stiffness help keep the ring seated securely in the case groove.

  Restores normal line pressure, eliminates related shift & TCC problems and restores cooler flow.
  
• Updated Steel Pressure Switch Plugs
  Addresses No 3-5 Up shift Repeat Direct friction failure. Replaces broken/blown-out plastic dummy plugs or pressure switches
• Updated Forward Drum Solid Sealing Rings

Warranty:
This transmission comes with a 1 Year 36,000 Mile Warranty with the purchase of a new torque converter. We offer an extended Warranty 2 Year 50,000 Mile Warranty, or a 3 Year 100,000 Mile Warranty for an additional charge.

Core Information:
Buyer is required to swap a core for this trans otherwise there will be a core charge in addition to the above price. Core must NOT have any case damage, otherwise there will be additional charges.
