Updates to the Transmission:

  • Updated Overdrive Snap RingUpdated Overdrive Snap Ring, The OEM Overdrive Snap Ring is very common to break, which can cause major failure in the overdrive unit or even cause it to lock up, which can be a major problem. WE REPLACE IT EVERY BUILD EVERY TIME, we do not CHECK IF OK, we do it the correct way!
  • Updated Sonnax Reverse Servo Pin The OEM aluminum servo pin/plug is subject to wear, galling, and breaking at the spring seat area due to high stresses in reverse. The Sonnax replacement plug 22912-01K has been manufactured from hardened steel to more than double the tensile strength of the part.
  • Updated 3/4 Accumulator Spring it is common for the OEM 3-4 accumulator spring to fatigue, causing sluggish shifts, or to break. This is replaced with a specially designed 3-4 accumulator spring to restore the proper shift feel and is resistant to breaking or fatigue.
  • Updated TransGo TV Valve Restores TV System Functionality. Allows Re-use of valve bodies with worn Throttle Valve Bores. New TV valve has relocated lands that provides the valve with support from an unworn area of the bore restoring normal function.

Warranty: This transmission comes with a 1 Year 36,000 Mile Warranty with the purchase of a new torque converter. We offer an extended Warranty 2 Year 50,000 Mile Warranty, or a 3 Year 100,000 Mile Warranty for an additional charge.

WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
Any and all shipping costs, including freight damage claims. Rental cars, loss of work, any labor costs, removal/reinstall fees, towing costs, inspection fees and any other incidental costs or damages which may be associated with product failure. Any product that has been physically altered, improperly installed or maintained. Any product used in an improper application, abused or not used in connection with the proper parts.

Core information: Shipping cost only covers one-way shipping. Return shipping cost for the transmission core is not included in this price. Also, due to return freight shipping cost versus core cost you CANNOT send your core back. If you are picking up locally and want to bring your core there maybe a credit for your core.
