- Updated Machined Center Support & Sonnax Anti-Wear Case Snap Ring corrects common issues with movement between the center support and case causes wear on the rear of the center support where it contacts the case lugs allowing movement in the center support resulting in failures of these components and the forward clutch. The steel Sonnax support ring installs between the case lugs and the machined center support, giving more contact area with the center support, alignment of the support, and eliminating future wear at the support increasing durability
- Updated Spiral 4th Clutch Snap Ring corrects common issues with the 4th clutch piston retainer snap ring coming loose in the groove and destroying the front portion of the transmission. The spiral features a unique design that mechanically locks tabs into place, preventing it from being worked out of the retaining ring groove.
- TransGo Updated steel Valve kits correct common issues the original aluminum clutch line regulator valves have such as shedding the hard plating on the ends, scratch the bore and resulting in sticking valves, causing burned clutches and missing shifts. We replace these failure prone valves with new hard steel valves and correct these problems.
- TransGo Updated Pressure Regulator & Boost Valve setup allows increased line pressure and boost valve function

At Shift Rite Transmissions, we want to ensure your transmission performs at its best! Our warranty covers everything under normal use, but it won’t cover damage to cases or shafts caused by misuse, abuse, or burn down due to operator error. For the warranty to remain valid, all warranty-related work must be completed at our facility in Kankakee, IL. The vehicle owner is responsible for shipping the transmission or vehicle to us for any necessary repairs. Please note that any unauthorized repairs made to the transmission will void the warranty. Please note that our warranty is non-transferable. We’re here to support you and keep your transmission in top shape!
Core Information:
Buyer is required to pay the core deposit up front. Core must NOT have any internal hard part damage or case damage, otherwise there will be additional charges deducted from your core deposit for the damaged hard part(s) or case. Initial shipping cost only covers one-way shipping. Return shipping cost for the transmission core is not included. Return shipping cost is deducted from your core deposit refund, after returned core passes inspection. All Cores must be returned within 30 days from date of purchase.
